Springfield is launching a planning project to create an Active Transportation Plan for the City called Walk & Roll Springfield. This Plan will replace the outdated 1998 Bicycle Plan and establish, for the first time, an adopted pedestrian plan. The Planning Commission acting in its role as the Committee for Citizen Involvement must approve a Community Engagement Plan for this project. The Community Engagement Plan describes how the city and its consultants will engage the community during the planning process.
